Curriculum vitae

In my ceramic work I deal with organic forms and the aesthetics of ugliness.

In the series "Wallflowers" the common denominator is a sort of organism. The ball-like forms, cast in bone china, have been melted in the kiln so that they lose their form and are pleated naturally. With the change in form the material is lost. You can find details in the works like veins, branches, skin-like and intestine-like structures.

The series "Buds" was born from the fallen down form of the flower. Series resemble the bud of a flower rising from the floor. The golden, black and white bud.
