ASSOCIATION

Viaporin taidekäsityöläiset ry (Association of 8 artists working in Suomenlinna) was established in 1999. Association aims to promote high quality Finnish arts and handicrafts made in Suomenlinna, as well as to support artists work and present their products and art.

Suomenlinna provides unique surroundings for artists to work. Artists share high professionalism of their own field as well as mutual spirit of arts and craftmanship. Not to mention the unique atmosphere of Suomenlinna.

Association of Viaporin Taidekäsityöläiset maintains the Arts and Crafts Summer Shop b34 which is located in Susisaari, and Vitriinigalleria which is located in Rantakasarmi. Also some of the artists’ studios will be open to the public during summer.
